Fumiaki Aono — The Irreplaceable
How to Live in a Precious World
Since the 1990s, Aono has centred his practice on the act of “repairing,” using the damage and traces of use on discarded objects as clues. Tracing his own diary from before 3.11, the show assembles fragments of past life into monuments reflecting on a culture of living alongside disaster.
